The second group of nesting dolls were handmade dolls manufactured in private studios in Sergiev Posad and painted by craftsmen of the local iconographic school. The Sergiev Posad craftsmen worked out in the first decades of the 20th century their own unique graphic and ornamental forms that were deeply rooted in the local national traditions. height - 15 cm.
